**UPDATE** CATALYST Chosen for 10,000 sq.ft. ERAU LEED-Platinum Business/Technology Center

PRESCOTT, AZ- CATALYST ARCHITECTURE was recently chosen for the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Applied Technology and Accelerator Building Project, out of an initial field of 26 firms, and a shortlisted field of 6 pre-qualified design teams.

The LEED-Platinum seeking project is intended to be a regional paradigm of sustainability, healthy-living, conservation and technology, design principles for which CATALYST is well known.

Housed on the main Prescott campus of ERAU, the Applied Technology and Accelerator Building will be designed to fit within the parameters of the Business/Technology Park master plan. According to ERAU, "the building will operate as an accelerator to assist new, startup businesses expand and grow in a technology environment" and will "promote and sustain skilled jobs creation, technology development, and economic growth."

CATALYST has assembled a top-notch Design and Engineering Team to service the project, which draws on exemplary local talent and is augmented by qualified specialists who are regional leaders in their respective fields. This collaborative team includes a number of firms with LEED-Platinum experience and represents an interweaving of previous collaborative relationships between team members. The CATALYST Team includes over forty qualified professionals and three fully staffed architectural firms.

While the ERAU
Adminstration is currently re-evaluating the economic viability of the project, CATALYST is already working with the university officials to provide preliminary building cost data, in order to assist the process.  CATALYST and its Engineering team remain ready to begin, as soon as this ground-breaking project is given a final green-light for construction.
